I have always enjoyed snapping pictures. I wasn’t really ever able to take pictures when I was a kid, because they didn’t really have digital cameras, but once my dad bought a digital camera and my mom said I could play with it…I took that camera over. Well, not when she was using the camera, herself, of course. It was so fun to take a pictures and immediately see what it looked like. It fueled my creative drive to take pictures of everything.
Lately, I haven’t had that creative drive to just pick up the camera and snap some breath-taking photographs (I’m not saying I’m a professional, so my photos might not all be breath-taking, but I try.), but then I met a really awesome friend and my photography inspiration came back to me. Her name is Patience and she takes some AMAZING pictures. He blog, The Brightness Project, has some really great photography tips and inspiration for everyone. Anyways…as I was saying…my creative juices just started to kick in and I picked up my camera again. It has been fun!
With my camera back in my hands and inspiration back in my veins, I thought I would provide you with a great list of online photography classes that are both free and paid. (Many of the paid ones are by far the best!)

The last class, was the one I did in High School. It was fun and took me on a journey to know the story of photography. It was awesome.
The rest of the classes, I’ve never seen or heard of, until I searched. I wished I did many of these classes in High School, but the way I learned was more from experimenting, observing other photographer’s photos, and learning some tips here and there from friends or books I’ve picked up at the local library.
To help me get out of my comfort zone and spur some more creative juices, my friend and I put together an Instagram photo challenge for the month of September. It is so fun. (If you’ve not done a Instagram challenge, you should!)
Are you into photography? Have you taken any classes?
