Well, it goes the same for grocery lists.
Making a grocery list and knowing what we need before we get to the store:
At the same time my mom and I are planning for our two weeks of meals, breakfast through dinner, we are also putting together our extensive grocery list. Having a family of six and shopping for two full weeks sure does make our grocery lists l o n g…
I like to divide our grocery list according to the area in which the item is found; Grocery, Meats, Dairy, and Fruits & Vegetables are the “genres” that I label.

And due to the power of example, I’ve also attached an image of how my family would fill it up…only this is very small compared to what our list usually looks like.
I’ve learned that lists are SUPER important if you want to remember all that you need, while your AT the store, not at home unpacking all those groceries and then remembering…
Every time I go out for errands I have to have a list. It’s kind of an obsession. I make a list to shop (except when I’m just going to browse…), I make a list of items I need to pack when I go out of town, I make a list of things I need to get done, I make a list…you get the picture. Lists just make me feel on top of things.
