I love writing to my friends. To this day I still have a handful of friends I write to on a regular basis, although, I know email and texts are a much easier way to communicate, I prefer to be a rebel and keep letter-writing alive. (I’m not saying I don’t text or email my friends, too.) With this in love of writing, I have really wanted to find a way to encourage children in this day and age to write to their friends, so I came up with this idea of creating fun writing papers for them and I love how they turned out!
This pen-pal writing set is perfect for kids ages 6-12 of both genders. You will find writing pages with a lot of prompts for the kids. You will also find pages that are set up for more advance letter-writers or perfect for kids that need help to copy words.
I would highly recommend you to get your children to write their friends or find new pen-pals for them, because it has been amazing for me. It has taught me how to communicate with others. It has also taught me more about grammar and spelling. Pen-pals really are great!
I have a little friend that LOVES to write letters to all the new little girls she has met. The last two times we have had them over to our house for a celebration/party with other families she has come up to me asking for a piece of paper and a pencil, so she and the other little girls can exchange mailing addresses. It truly is the cutest thing!
