I totally disliked math when I was homeschooling. Not that I wasn’t good at it, but because it wasn’t me. I was the English/Literature kind of student, thus the theme for my blog.
So, I saw this idea one day on Pinterest (isn’t all these ingenious ideas on Pinterest?) of music math, or math music, whatever the proper terminology should be. A light bulb went on.
“I could make something like that!”
It combines my love of music AND puts a creative twist on the boring side of addition.
Teaching math and music…together!?!
Note: You don’t even have to read music in order to do this! I have an answer key for you and a little introduction of music value for the kids…
This could be for children in elementary, who are learning to do math, or for kids who are just learning music.
You can print and use these sheets for your family!
