It is such a memorial marker in their young lives to actually be doing things like the “big kids”.
To help get the kids excited/prepared for what is ahead, I have compiled a list of books for your little ones to read.
Back to School Books for Preschoolers
- Curious George’s First Day of School
- Preschool Day Hooray!
- Dinosaur Starts School
- Amelia Bedelia’s First Day of School
- Mouse’s First Day of School
- What Did You Do Today?
- Spot Goes to School
- Pooh’s First Day of School
- The Night Before Preschool
- See You Later, Mom!
As a homeschooling family, I am looking forward to watching what my little brothers will be learning, especially my youngest brother, since this will be his first year and his mind is like a sponge right now. Seriously. He absorbs anything and everything we give him to learn.
My mom won’t be teaching my baby brother everything, since he’ll only be in preschool, but I can’t wait for him to learn how to write some words and learn to read! I cannot wait to have him learn to read. As you probably can tell.
Do you have a little one going into preschool? Are you homeschooling them?
