I remember when I was about eight years old, I went to my first Fire Safety “course.” We were talked to by a local Firefighter, who taught us the basics of fire safety, such as: Stop, drop, and roll; fire drills; and feeling the doors. After the safety talk, we were taken outside to a camper/trailer and was taken to the upper level and were told to sit until the instructor told us to move and see how to safely get out. Once the fire alarm went off we had to feel the door, which was hot, so we climbed out the window. It was pretty fun.
Fire safety is an important thing to know, especially for young children, so these books are for you!
