I used to love doing clock math work, such as writing what time it was or by drawing the big hand and little hand to make the time. This is an important aspect of training for younger children and can take some time (no pun intended) to teach this skill, but with these 15 books about telling time, it may be just a little easier.
In our digital and technology world, learning analog clocks can be a little bit tricky. I know, because I have to admit, my ability to read analog clocks was not something to covet. I just became so accustomed to looking around and spotting a digital clock and getting the time right there and then, why would I have to sit and think about what time it was on the the clock with hands?
Some time ago, I decided to learn military time, so made my digital clock format in the 24-hour. I learned that pretty quickly, but I kept away from analog, until I felt to embarrassed, and then I relearned it. I won’t go digital again!
